LS-DYNA is a general-purpose finite element program capable of simulating complex real world problems. It is used by the automobile, aerospace, construction, military, manufacturing, and bioengineering industries. LS-DYNA is optimized for shared and distributed memory Unix, Linux, and Windows based, platforms, and it is fully QA’d by ANSYS LST.
A standalone design optimization and probabilistic analysis package with an interface to LS-DYNA.In the “conventional design” approach, a design is improved by evaluating its “response” and making design changes based on experience or intuition. A systematic approach can be obtained by using an inverse process of first specifying the criteria and then computing the ‘best’ design according to a formulation.
An advanced pre and post-processor that is delivered free with LS-DYNA. The user interface is designed to be both efficient and intuitive. LS-PrePost runs on Windows, Linux, and Macs utilizing OpenGL graphics to achieve fast rendering and XY plotting.
A topology and shape computation tool. Developed for engineering analysts who need to optimize structures, LS-TaSC works with both the implicit and explicit solvers of LS-DYNA. LS-TaSC handles topology optimization of large non-linear problems, involving dynamic loads and contact conditions.
